I was born and raised in a small mountain town in Alberta. I've always been specific about what I wear and how to style myself. This has led to a passion for fashion design and art. I started painting on my pants just for fun but thought why not do it for others? Now I've started my own company with an environmental and nature-conscious outlook. I produce 1 of 1 garments from second-hand clothing I find at thrift stores. This gives me total creative freedom and allows me to create without feeling wasteful. Doing this work has given me a great appreciation for the craft and brings me many hours of enjoyment. Ergo started as an Instagram page for nature and creative photography with a long-term goal to change it into a place to sell vintage clothes. While I was down this path I kept seeing more and more second-hand clothing sellers pop up and knew the market was so saturated. This is when I sought to use my art to sell clothes. I started off with acrylic paintings on denim by hand but now have transferred over to screen printing and hand embroidery. This transfer has gotten many more people interested in my work and I am hoping to build the brand further and further.
